Our Quality Control Practices

Transparent Batch & Lot Tracking

To ensure our products are consistent and meet the highest standards of quality, every batch of raw material and every production lot of finished goods is assigned a unique tracking number (LOT #) to identify it during our quarantine, production, and post-purchase processes.



Upon receiving new raw materials, we place them in a designated quarantine area, distinct from approved raw materials. Only trained employees, responsible for sampling, handle materials in this area. No material is used in production or dispatched to clients until all testing procedures and documentation are completed.

Any given shipment of raw material can contain several containers of the same product. To be sure all the material is up to our quality standards, samples are taken from every container. A composite sample is blended from these samples and sent to a third-party lab for analysis.

Each sample goes through several tests. Different products undergo different analyses based on the product’s chemical composition and properties. The product's specification data sheet outlines the tests conducted on the product and includes information about the minimum standards set by the company. These specifications are publicly posted for every product on the product listing page.

Following the extraction phase, our hemp products undergo meticulous refinement to align with U.S. regulations. U.S. law mandates that all hemp products available in the country must not exceed the federal limit of 0.03% THC by weight.

In this crucial step, THC is carefully extracted to ensure compliance with the federal limit. The refinement process may vary based on the product and its specific goals.

Certain products, such as our gummies, focus on delivering an exceptional experience within the legal limit, offering an intense THC experience while adhering to regulatory requirements.

However, we understand that preferences differ, and regulations vary. Therefore, our process goes a step further, refining some products to contain 0.00% THC. This caters to customers who prefer THC-free options or reside in states where such compliance is required by law. In our ongoing commitment to product safety, the second step in our rigorous lab testing at XLR8 Delta is the Residual Solvent Analysis. Certain cannabinoid extraction methods may use solvents that leave behind residues, posing potential health risks upon consumption.

Residues such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and other heavy metals may unintentionally find their way into products during cultivation or manufacturing. The Residual Solvent Analysis process is dedicated to identifying and quantifying these residues.

To ensure uncompromised consumer safety, our products adhere to stringent limits. Our comprehensive solvent testing meticulously scrutinises all materials present in refined hemp, guaranteeing the complete absence of harmful residues

As the third crucial step in our lab testing process, XLR8 Delta conducts meticulous Mycotoxin Analysis. Mould can generate mycotoxins, harmful substances that may persist in a product even after the mould is eliminated. Our analysis is designed to identify and eliminate any trace remains of these mycotoxins, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in our products.

As the fourth pivotal step in our quality control process, XLR8 Delta conducts meticulous Foreign Material Inspection. Through visual inspection and microscopic examination of refined hemp, we ensure that our products are free from any foreign particles that could compromise our rigorous quality control standards and jeopardise consumer safety.

This thorough testing approach isn't limited to identifying specific materials; instead, it aims to detect anything that doesn't belong. Foreign material inspection helps us identify and remove contaminants such as dust, particles from machines, hairs, or any other unwanted elements that may inadvertently find their way into the production process.

In the subsequent step of our quality assurance process, XLR8 Delta employs advanced scientific technologies – Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry. These cutting-edge methodologies delve deep into our products' composition, providing an unparalleled level of precision in determining the exact concentration of cannabinoids.
